With an increasing number of large dogs running loose in the neighborhood, Danny decides to give Louie some help in the north pasture.  (Actually, Jack decided. He began crawling under the fence and we'd find Jack and Louie together in the morning.)

On August 28, when Danny brought the dogs in to feed. he discovered a large gash on Jack's front leg.  Further examination revealed a second wound on his right rear leg.

Jack doesn't appreciate the lampshade look. (He'd appreciate it even less if he could see the look on Splash's face!)
